MG Lovers!

Don Butler, woodworker and former sports car technician, makes these MGs out of fine hardwoods and quality quartz clocks by free hand methods. They are about 8 inches from bumper to bumper. The clocks are in the back wheels and photo inserts are in the front wheels.

The MG logos are actual dashboard badges from MGs made in the 60s.

Don collected them as he prepared new MGs for delivery. When a radio was installed, there was a plate in the dashboard that was removed and it had a die cast MG logo as seen above. Rather than discard them, Don kept them. A few survive. The badges may be regarded by some collectors as antiques since they are about fifty years old.

The quartz time movement can be removed for setting time or changing the battery, which, by the way, lasts on an average of three years. They're a common battery type. Instructions for adjustments are included. The photo insert has a little photo of the MG car. It pops out the same way the clock does. Any photo of your choice can be substituted.

You may notice the MG TD silhouette shows the car with the windscreen folded down. It was necessary because it would have been too fragile if shown in the full up position. The other car is the MGB. A classy little sporty car in its day.

The price for either model is $65 plus shipping and handling.
