Dear Fellow Fiber Artists and Customers,
I had an interesting thing happen while I was waiting in a doctor's office. I was knitting a sample of a new yarn, to show stitch definitions in different patterns, and wanted to add a cable to the sample, and didn't have a cable needle! No problem, I thought, I'll just slip them off and cross the stitches. Although this works with some yarns, it did not work with this one. Frustrated with myself, for not bringing my accessory bag, I looked for a pencil in my purse to no avail, but then I found an ad I had torn out of something, very thin paper, but I folded it several times until it was small and stiff. Voila'! It worked as a cable needle. I was happily knitting again (very proud of myself). Where there's a will, there's a way!
New Summer Hours:
Saturdays we are working on our yard, attending seminars and conventions, etc, and will be closed on Saturdays. For those who can't make it during the regular 10 to 5 hours, Tuesday through Friday, we are extending the Friday hours until seven pm.
Many new classes are scheduled.

Friday May 15 and 22 - 10:30 to 12:30 Entrelac Shawl - Entrelac is the French word for basket weave knitting.
